Have a quick question for the Teaching & Learning Technology team? Let us know at Canvas@utlists.utexas.edu

Please direct questions regarding access to Canvas and/or course enrollment to the UT Service Desk. Consults can NOT grant access or enrollments.

Don't forget, all UT Instructors, Staff, & Students have access to 24/7 Canvas Support from the (?) Help menu on the left.

CANVAS CONSULTS

  • Have questions about a Canvas feature and/or functionality (e.g., Course Design, Modules, Pages)?
  • Want to try something new with Assignments/Quizzes or looking to migrate Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes?
  • Questions about some of the tools we have integrated with Canvas? Tools that appear in your course navigation (e.g., Zoom, Panopto) or under Settings > Navigation (e.g., Gradescope, Honorlock), we can help!

VENDOR INTEGRATIONS

  • Have questions about integrating a new external tool/app into your course? Check to see if it is on our list - External Apps and what to do if it is not.
  • NOTE: Our policy on third party tools without a University-wide license is to point users to the vendor for support and training.
    • If the tool appears in your course navigation (e.g., Zoom, Panopto) or under Settings > Navigation (e.g., Gradescope, Honorlock), it is supported by the UT Canvas team - sign up for a Canvas consult!

SUBACCOUNT ONBOARDING

  • Administrator access is intended to help provide technical support, user support, or access analytical data related to the courses within the sub-account (college/school/department).
  • Once you have completed the required training and form, schedule a meeting to go over the onboarding process and get answers to any lingering questions.
