Viewing & Grading an ePortfolio Assignment

Step 1: Open ePortfolio Assignment in Speedgrader

Select your course Assignments (1) panel and (2) click on the assignment to open.

Select Speedgrader from the right hand margin.

Step 2: Open Student's ePortfolio URL in Speedgrader

For each student ePortfolio submission, you see a static snapshot (1) of the home page, as well as links to open their ePortfolio in a new tab (2) or (3) open their ePortfolio site directly in Speedgrader (recommended for convenience.)

Finally, in the upper left corner, you can see which student's ePortfolio (4) you are currently reviewing.

Once you have opened a student's ePortfolio, you can see and interact with this (1) ePortfolio directly in Speedgrader. You can even leave comments for the student (2) directly in their ePortfolio, provided they have enabled comments for each of their ePortfolio pages.

Or, if you prefer, you can leave comments for the student in Canvas (3), to which the student can respond and a possible private exchange between you and this student can result.
