Using Google Docs

The use of Google Drive within Canvas is only authorized for UTmail (name@utexas.edu) gmail accounts.

 

Students and faculty may not use personal gmail accounts to access Google Docs inside of Canvas because of security, privacy, and data concerns via the University of Texas Information Security Office Links to an external site..

UTmail accounts are available for all UT-Austin faculty, staff, students and alumni. If you do not have a UTmail account, you can create one by clicking here. Links to an external site.
