End of Semester Message
Hello UT instructors!
We are in the final stretch of fall semester. Congratulations and good luck with finals! We have one significant update to communicate, then please enjoy these curated learning technology updates designed to prepare you for common end-of-semester and beginning-of-spring tasks.
In preparation for the new student email policy taking effect next summer, we will update the email address associated with all user accounts in Canvas on December 19th. After this change, the email address in Canvas will be the institutional identifier (IID) email, formatted as EID@eid.utexas.edu. This immutable email provides a consistent email address and resolves issues with external tools that rely on email as a unique identifier. The IID email is already used by systems like Box and Zoom and acts as a routing address to the email address The University has on file for you. To learn more about IID visit https://bit.ly/3VhZrnL Links to an external site..
Feedback is a gift, and tis the season for gifts. 😊 Please drop us a note at https://forms.office.com/r/2104fbTRtn Links to an external site. to let us know what’s working well and what improvements we can make. Thank you!
