Congratulations, you’ve made it to the final stretch of the spring semester! With finals looming and end-of-semester tasks upon us, we hope this list of curated learning technology updates will help you successfully navigate the close of the academic year with confidence, efficiency, and support.

Here are a few important updates before we dive in. We are excited to announce our newly formed unit Enterprise Technology (ET). In January, several central technology teams were consolidated to form ET. End-of-Semester Checklist

 

Looking Ahead to Summer/Fall 2025

  • Summer 2025 courses are available on Canvas now; Fall 2025 course shells will be available on May 16th.  Schedule a consultation Links to an external site. or attend office hours and/or a workshop Links to an external site. if you have questions about setting up your course(s).
  • Don’t forget to submit your textbook orders early. This is a University policy and a common request from students. All required course materials – textbooks, course packets, access codes, school supply items, etc. – must be submitted to the Co-op in advance of the semester start. If an item is unavailable at the Co-op, it should still be listed. Contact Michael Kiely in the Co-op Textbook Office at mkiely@universitycoop.com for more information. 

 

Digital Accessibility Center (DAC)

  • The Digital Accessibility Center is here to support campus accessibility efforts and comply with updated Title II (ADA) requirements. The Document and Audio/Video Accessibility Teams provide faculty and staff with resources, best practices, and assessments.

UT.AI Updates

  • Copilot premium licenses are being subsidized by Enterprise Technology this year. The premium license enhances productivity and collaboration by integrating advanced AI capabilities directly into the Microsoft 365 suite, streamlining workflows and enabling seamless teamwork.   • We are offering comprehensive training sessions that focus on maximizing the use of Copilot to enhance productivity. Various levels of Microsoft 365 Copilot training, such as Introduction to Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft 365 Copilot Across the Ecosystem will be offered in person and online.   • We are excited to announce that UT Sage, our AI tutor platform Links to an external site., is now in open beta. This phase allows all interested faculty to create and share custom AI chatbots with students for self-directed learning. The platform is designed to support students anytime, anywhere.
