What will this course look like in Fall 2023?
As of the start of the Fall 2023 semester, here's what you need to know about the format of this course:
- Delivery Format:
- Classes are delivered in a face-to-face (i.e. not online or hybrid) format.
- Office hours are held online only via Zoom unless otherwise stated.
- If changes are made to this course's format or modality, you will be notified as soon as possible via Canvas Announcements and Slack.
We care deeply about each student's experience in this course and will work hard to give you a positive experience in the class. If there's anything you feel your professor needs to be aware of, please don't hesitate to contact them directly.
COVID Policies & FAQ
To help preserve our in-person learning environment, the university recommends the following.
- Vaccinations (and boosters) are widely available Links to an external site., free, and not billed to health insurance. The vaccine helps protect against viral transmission to others and reduces serious symptoms in those who are vaccinated.
- Please test when you are sick or regularly if you're able:
- The university has ended its distribution of rapid antigen self-test kits but if you need a covid test click here for more information on your options Links to an external site..
- The university will provide symptomatic COVID-19 testing Links to an external site. on campus for all students, faculty, and staff.
- What if you’re sick?
- For any illness, students should stay home if they are sick or contagious, not only to stop the spread but also to promote their personal wellness. Also, use the exposure action chart below to help you know what to do in the event you are sick:
