Fa26 - MANAGING GLOBAL PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Students will learn of the special factors involved in managing a public affairs organization in a host country (i.e., outside the organization’s home country). "Public affairs organizations," for our purposes, include government organizations like embassies and consulates, international organizations like the United Nations and its agencies, private sector contractors of a public affairs organization, and civil society organizations which often implement public affairs programs. Students will gain a degree of the knowledge and understanding a manager must possess to address these factors successfully. Experience in the field will do the rest.
