Insurance Options at UHS
I don’t have insurance
- You do not need insurance to utilize University Health Services (UHS)
- Discounted Rates are available for those without insurance or those covered my Medicare (including CHIP) or Medicaid
Medicare (including CHIP) or Medicaid at UHS
- Medicare (including CHIP) and Medicaid do not cover services at UHS. If you have one of these plans, you will have to visit an external provider who is not a part of UHS for coverage by your insurance.

Charges at UHS
- Most standard office visits, such as a routine general medicine checkup, are $10 at UHS. However, the rates may vary, as services such as Physical Therapy, some Women’s Health services, Dietician visits, and specific diagnostic tests and procedures have different costs associated with them. - The Student Administrative Health Fee (included in tuition) helps cover part of UHS appointment costs
