Once you've removed the footer (optional), click Edit to customize your About page.

To upload an image, you can either:

1. Type a “/” (slash) and click on Image, then upload a photo

OR

2. Click on the "+" symbol on the page or the blue one at the top left of the page to Add a block, then select Image to upload a photo

 

 

You can either choose to:

1. Upload your image directly

2. Upload an image that's already in your Media Library

3. Paste in a URL address to an image you found online

 

To resize your photo, you can either:

1. Drag one of the circular dots on the side of the image

2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner to show the sidebar, then go down to Settings > Image dimensions > Width and Height to adjust specific dimensions for your photo

 

To crop your image, you can:

1. Select the Crop icon from the mini menu

2. Click on the Zoom icon to zoom in and out OR

    Choose to crop view Aspect ratio (the rectangular icon next to the Zoom icon)

3. Click Apply once you are done cropping the image

 

*Please note: You won't be able to crop the image if you inserted the image via URL

 

 

If you navigate to the sidebar on the right (under “Block”), there are options to customize the style of your photo (Default, Rounded, Borders, Frame)

 

 

To reposition your profile picture, click on the Align icon in the mini menu and select your preferred alignment. “Align left” is most common.

 

To add text next to your image, click on the “+” button to the right of your photo (you may have to hover your cursor over the space until it appears) OR click on the blue "+" button in the top left corner.

 

Click on Paragraph to add a body of text

Customize your “about me” paragraph however you’d like.

Here’s a template to get you started: 

Hi, I'm [name]! I’m a [year] at [college name] majoring in [department/major]. 
I plan to pursue [career of interest] after I graduate and I’m particularly interested in [topic(s)]. [Add a statement or two on why these topics are of interest to you!]

Remember to update your site once finished.
