Delete the Footer

To remove the footer at the bottom (including elements such as the Search bar, Recent posts, Archive, etc.), click on the Customize button on your dashboard.
Tap the blue Edit icon next to any of the footer elements. The side bar should display a description and image on customizing block Widgets.
Hit the Delete button on your keyboard, which should remove the component from the footer. Repeat for all footer components.
