Enabling "Publish" workflow to prevent videos from being immediately available to Students

If you prefer a workflow that doesn't immediately make videos available to students immediately, you can set new Panopto recordings to "not available" until you are ready to "Publish" by adjusting the 'Availability' of new recordings.

1. Go to your course Panopto Video page
2. Click the gear icon to launch Folder Settings (under More Actions)

3. Click the Settings tab on the left and scroll to the bottom for Availability. Select "Never" to keep Zoom Cloud recordings from going "live" once they are converted by Panopto.

4. Click "X" to close window

5. When you are ready for your students to view the recording (after editing, adding questions, etc.), hover over the video, click the three dots and select Publish. 

Notice the eye with a slash at the bottom of the thumbnail letting you know this recording is not available to viewers.
