Manually moving Zoom video recordings to Panopto- Staff

 

Step-by-step instructions

1. Access https://zoom.us/signin Links to an external site.

2. Click the 'SSO' button (Single sign-on).

3. When prompted for a "Company Domain", enter in "utexas" and click "Continue".

4. Sign-in using your UT EID login credentials. You will be prompted to go through a two-factor authentication process.

5. Click the 'Recordings' tab in the left-hand menu.

6. Locate the Zoom meeting that you want to ultimately upload that has been recorded to the cloud in the 'Cloud Recordings' tab. Click on the files saved.

7.  Proceed to download the recording.

8. You will be prompted to the pop-up screen shown below, click 'Download'. You can check the 'Do not remind me again' box to stop the pop-up screen from appearing again.

9. Access https://utexas.hosted.panopto.com and select 'EID Login' within the dropdown menu. Then, sign-in using your UT EID login credentials and go through the two-factor authentication process.

10. You will be directed to your Panopto video library. Click on Create -> Upload Media to upload your downloaded recording to Panopto.

11. Click to choose and upload your recently downloaded file.

12. Wait until it has been completely processed and uploaded. Close the window once successful.

13. That's it! You will see your video inside your designated Panopto video folder.
