Recording your screen with Panopto Capture- Staff

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the Panopto Capture recorder and go to the Screens and Apps tab in the upper right.
    
   
   
2. This opens a dialogue box allowing you to choose which content to record.
   You can record your screen (if you have multiple displays, select one), or choose a specific window or browser tab.
   Select Share.
   Note: To share audio, check the box in the lower left of the dialogue.
    
   
   
3. Panopto Capture gives you options for how you would like to view your shared screen as you record - choose a combined view, just the shared content, or just your video.
   Hover over any view to see the controls in its upper right.
   Select the view you prefer.
    
   
   
4. Click the red button to begin recording.Click it again when you have finished recording.
   
   
5. Panopto shows a new window while your video is processing.
   You may edit information about your video at this time. To change the title, type a new title where the default title appears. Hit Enter on your keyboard to save.
   Note: It is safe to close this dialogue while your video is processing.
    
   
   
6. That's it! You can now view and edit your recorded content in Panopto.
