Recording Better Video (changing Capture settings) with Panopto Capture- Staff

Step-by-step instructions

1. Access https://utexas.hosted.panopto.com Links to an external site. and select 'EID Login' within the dropdown menu. Then, sign-in using your UT EID login credentials and go through the two-factor authentication process.

2. Click the arrow inside the 'Create' button to access the dropdown menu. Proceed to click 'Panopto Capture' to start the recording process.

3. Panopto Capture opens in a new browser tab. You may need to allow access to your microphone and camera to proceed. Click the settings icon in the bottom right corner of the interface.

4. Select your desired video quality under the Recording options, by default it will be set at Standard Definition. 

5. That's it! Close menu to start recording in Panopto Capture with improved video quality.
