Recording a Panopto Capture video to your Panopto account

UT Staff members can access Panopto at https://utexas.hosted.panopto.com Links to an external site. by using the EID Login dropdown menu.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Access https://utexas.hosted.panopto.com Links to an external site. and select 'EID Login' within the dropdown menu. Then, sign-in using your UT EID login credentials and go through the two-factor authentication process.

2. Click the arrow inside the 'Create' button to access the dropdown menu. Proceed to click 'Panopto Capture' to start the recording process.

3. Click the red start button to begin your recording. Click the same button to end your recording.

4. Customize the title and wait until the processing for your video is ready. You will see that the recording will be uploaded to your folder in your Panopto video library. You can close your browser when you are finished customizing.

5. Access your Panopto video library and find your new recording inside the selected folder destination. 

6. Click to view your new recording that you just captured along with the transcript created by the automatic speech recognition feature.
