Creating a Panopto video assignment in your Canvas course

Step-by-step instructions

1. To create a video assignment with Panopto, go to the assignments section of your course's Canvas page.

2. Click the button the create an assignment.

3. After titling your assignment and providing a description scroll down and check the box for "Text Entry."

4. To see how students will submit the assignment, after you have created it go into student view.

5. Click "Start Assignment."

6. In the text box, click the Panopto icon.

7. A Panopto window will open that will allow the student to upload or record their video submission!
