Castle Branch
The purpose of CastleBranch is to maintain required compliance items in a secure location. Per the School of Nursing’s Compliance Policy, students MUST maintain compliance requirements for each semester they are enrolled at the School of Nursing to avoid being dropped from courses.
What is it?
CastleBranch is an online external vendor used to manage, review, and store students’ compliance documents.
Why is it important to me?
Students must have current documentation at all times. Clinical agencies have their own standards and accreditation mandates. Therefore, in addition to standard compliance requirements, students who wish to enter these facilities must have documentation demonstrating that they have met these agency requirements.
CastleBranch is where you will upload and maintain all of your records, documents, and other sources of proof. Without having all necessary items uploaded into CastleBranch prior to the start of the semester, students will be dropped from courses.
Where can I learn more?
Students will receive detailed information from Student Services prior to the start of clinicals. For BSN students, this will happen during your Sophomore 2 semester. In the meantime, please refer to https://utexas.instructure.com/courses/1210530 for more information.
How do I get there?
Below are the Canvas self-enroll links for graduate students. These will be sent upon admission to the program. Undergraduate students will be sent the self-enroll link their Sophomore 2 semester.
