UbiSim

Simulations at the University of Texas School of Nursing (UTSON) Simulation and Skills Center (SSC) have been used as a way to give nursing students a more realistic hospital experience, to learn in a safe environment, and to learn without fear of causing harm to a real-life patient. Virtual Reality (VR) is an expanding and new way of providing nursing students opportunities to improve their knowledge and skills. VR simulations ensures that each student experiences certain patient situations at least once throughout their clinical time.
