Exercise 10 - As-Is Model draft for Client
- Due Mar 5, 2020 by 11:59pm
- Points 100
- Submitting a file upload
- Available until Mar 6, 2020 at 11:59pm
NOTE: You should be drafting your as-is modeling in the first week. Just because we have you turn this in at the end of week 2 does not mean you should delay doing this early. The reason we give you 2 weeks to turn this in so we can ensure the version we (i.e. the Professors) see is most complete and informative.
Instructions: Complete either a draft model of your client's "as is" system model or process model. Use any of the modeling or diagramming techniques we've covered. Just make sure it's relevant to your client project.
Submit 1 per team online. If you have some details that are still TBD that's okay but call out any unknowns so we're aware that it's in progress. Be as complete as you can and provide what you currently do know.

Are shapes used to depicted parts of the model make sense?
i.e. try to be clear when picking shapes to depict things. For example, if you use a box to depict a user, that may not make sense unless it is clearly labeled. Even if it is labeled, if you use a box to mean many things, you may consider using unique shapes to describe things better.

Does the chosen model seem relevant to the project?
Ensure that the model you have chosen is relevant to model/explain the existing client situation. If it does not add much value/explanation to someone who is not familiar with the project, then the type of model is not very relevant.
