What does inclusive teaching mean to you? 

I see it as the diversity of the class room, and creativity in your teaching. 

“As a teacher, more diverse your class room is, more creative you will become” 

 

Please give an example of what thinking inclusively looks like to you in your teaching or your work around campus. 

In my advanced Lab class, we found students with variety of interests in their career goals (ex: med-school, grad-school, industry). Through our curriculum, we give them the opportunity and freedom to come up with a research idea based on their best interest. These independent projects will be experimentally carried out during the last 6-weeks of the semester. With their own interest towards the project idea will make them more enthusiastic and ultimately will provide a better learning outcome.
